Who we are
Pond Works is a fully insured, family landscaping, pondscaping and pond maintenance company based in Lincolnshire, established in 2001. Originally based in Horncastle but now due to further growth our warehouse relocated to Lincoln in 2021. You can contact us in Chesterfield, Doncaster, Grimsby, Lincoln, Nottingham & Sheffield areas for help with your new pond, equipment or pond problems.
We work right through the year on ponds with winter months being ideal for working on new or existing ponds with minimum inconvenience to the customer. Please bear in mind we are on-site almost all the time so you may need to leave a message and we will return your call. Visits to remote places and to areas at the periphery or outside our normal areas of operation will take time to arrange and complete. This is because we are on site every day and fit all visits in as our work schedules permit.
We are renown for our pond building and pondscaping, attitude, service, knowledge and associated new and remedial landscaping often being asked to design and landscape gardens for clients.
We are often asked ‘Are you busy?’ – well yes we are always busy but you would be concerned if we were not. We will complete your work at the earliest opportunity. If you are wanting to have work done on your water feature or pond in Spring book us early because many people contact us when Spring is about to start and we carry an ongoing body of work.
When you email or call us it may take us a few days to reply because our office is not currently manned due to Coronavirus instead we are on our current project site every day. So bear with us.
If you or someone in your household tests positive for Covid19 please advise us BEFORE we attend site to conduct a survey or work. In order to protect our employees, their families and the business we will postpone our visit until negative tests have been conducted.

Where we work
We operate throughout Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Doncaster area, Sheffield, North East Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Peak District and Grimsby, but also work further afield. We take pride in our work and relationships and are recommended by leading aquatics companies.
Many customers tell us how difficult it is to find someone to build or maintain ponds and water features which is why distance is no object for us having conducted work regularly in Ashbourne, Bakewell, Cleethorpes, Tickhill, Doncaster, Gainsborough, Skegness, Bawtry, Bakewell, Boston, Grantham, Lincoln, Mablethorpe, Louth, Meton Mowbray, Newark, Chesterfield, NE Derbyshire, Holmesfield, Dore & Totley, Dronfield, Rotherham, Peterborough, Sheffield, Skegness, Sleaford, Spalding, Scunthorpe, Cranwell, Cambridge, Market Rasen, Bedford, Worksop, Nottingham and Grimsby and we will work anywhere by arrangement. There may be a charge for our visit, advice over the telephone, email or in person at our premises is free but a charge will be made if we visit your premises for advice. Any figures we quote do not include VAT at the prevailing rate.
Why Hire Us
It is easy to find suppliers of aquatic equipment but very difficult to find someone for pond design, build & construction, repair and maintenance. Pond Works services include ponds, rills, equipment, maintenance, fountains and water features. We obtain most of our work through recommendation and repeat business and give 100% customer satisfaction measured through customer surveys. We have never advertised and are not listed in Yellow Pages however we are constantly being urged by customers to advertise to make it easier for others to find us.
Whether you want a new pond build, a one-off maintenance visit or maintenance contract we can help. We can design, build, repair, renovate, install, remove, reduce, remodel and maintain your pond, liner or water feature.
We are able to accept payment by credit and debit cards for work completed and purchases & special orders made.
All new electrical work is carried out to certified standards by an NICEIC electrician, new equipment is connected to your existing power supply to the equipment replaced. If you have concerns about your power supply you should get a qualified electrician to check it.
We carry a stock of equipment, pond plants, landscaping products at our stores at great prices. We offer the widest stock and range of pond plants in the area at sensible prices. We are

Please bear in mind we work away from the office and warehouse almost all the time so you may need to leave a message and we will return your call or reply to your email when we get into the office. This is especially the case with the Covid19 situation. Following the latest UK Government guidelines, we are able to provide non-contact appointments and surveys and our site work creating and maintaining ponds and equipment are fully operational. When we are working on your premises you must maintain a minimum 2 metre distance from our employees.
